Four times Olympician and 2002 world champion gold medalist, Italian player Francesca Piccinini extended her contract with Italian club Igor Volley Novara.
According to the official website of the team, the 38 years old living legend of the Italian volleyball has signed a one year contract deal. Last season, Piccinini helped the team to win their first ever Italian league champion.
In 2016, she again became “Most Valuable Player” when her team, Pomì Casalmaggiore, claimed the 2015–16 CEV DenizBank Champions League.
