Russian Superleague Champions and CEV Champions League winner, Zenit Kazan starts prepared their new season. The Kazan club accepted an invitation from South Korea and at the end of August. Zenit Kazan will go to South Korea and hold two friendly matches with the local clubs. Team’s players underwent an in-depth medical examination and conducted two training sessions in the weekends. Zenit Kazan will alternate training in the gym and work on physical training at the stadium, in the pool and on the beach under the leadership of Sergey Alekseev.
Some players will join the preparations later, as Alexander Butko, Artem Volvich and Maxim Mikhailov is preparing in the national team for the Wagner Memorial Friendly Match and the European Championships, while Matthew Anderson is in the position of the US team. Youth player Alexey Kononov, best blocker of U21 World Champion , is now preparing to help the Russian team at the U-23 World Championship in Cairo.
