While the Polish Men’s Team is conducting preparations for the 2017 CEV European Championship which they will host from August 24 to September, the President of the Polish Federation brings a good news to Poland.
Cuban outside spiker, Wilfredo León- one of the best players in the world who is currently playing for Zenit Kazan, will soon get the right to change his sport nationality and be able to represent Poland team.
The President Jacek Kasprzyk delivered the news to local journalists before the opening of Hubert Wagner Memorial tournament. There is a problem regarding León’s request on change of sports nationality in the last several months due to the fact that his native Federation withholds the whole process. And now the problem will be solved very soon. León will probably be able to represent Poland as soon as in the European Championships 2019.
