Tunisia, Egypt and Cameroon qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2018

The African Men’s Championship as well as the African qualification tournament of the Men’s World Championship 2018 came to the end on 29 October. Egypt were the defending champions and they also hosted the tournament at the Cairo Stadium Complex.
Tunisia finished the tournament as African champions after they defeated Egypt 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-15). It is their ninth title and first since 2003. Their win also stops Egypt’s run of six consecutive titles.
Cameroon defeated Algeria and won the bronze medal of the African Championship. The top three teams: Tunisia, Egypt and Cameroon are qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2018.
