Titled “Game Over”, Gamova’s new book available for pre-order

Per our previous article that Gamova is working on her autobiography and struggling to finalise its title. Now more details are revealed and it is now available for pre-order. Fans of Katya, are you ready?

Accordingly, the autobiography will be titled “Game Over”, an English nick name consonant with her maiden name. It is such a perfect name representing the end of her game on court while her passion for volleyball continues. In addition of her recollection of her anecdotes during her volleyball career, it also covers her ups and downs, emotions as well as her post retirement life as a volleyball player.

The book description writes,”It tells about wealth and poverty. About love and betrayal. About moments of happiness and anguish of disappointments.”

Ekaterina Gamova is one of the greatest volleyball players in history. She entered the team of masters at the age of 14, and soon made her debut in the Russian team. With the national team, she has won an impressive number of titles including –  2 world championships and a catalog of Europe Championships as well as 2 silver medals of the Olympic Games.

As we may recall, Gamova announced her retirement last year before the Rio Olympics which the then Head Coach Marichev shut the door for her playing at Rio. A year after her retirement, she managed to have another brilliant chapter of life that her presence has been almost everywhere including being invited as a TV commentator, coach and volleyball official.
