Tijana Malešević sets new world record for the most numbers of consecutive matches

As soon as Serbian Team sets to fight for their best result in the World Grand Prix Final in Nanjing next week (their third time making to the Final round), one of their wing spikers, Tijana Malešević is extending her streaks in playing for her country.

Tijana is the only player who has been playing in all the 73 international or continental matches for Serbia since 2011, the number of which is still counting. Therefore, she will be the new world record holder in this respect, the record of which has not been broken for 25 years.

In an interview by Odbojka-volleyball.com, Tijana expressed that she does not quite care about the figure though it is brilliant itself. More importantly, this is an encouraging information meaning that she is always healthy enough to play for her country.
