With recent report that Korean megastar Kim Yeon-koung was seriously deciding which club to join in the upcoming season after her six years’ service for Fenerbahçe Istanbul in Turkey, a Korean local media outlet Spotvnews reports that Kim is going to close the deal with Shanghai Team in China league.
Many of you may wonder why Kim has made such a surprising decision. According to InstaVolley’s close source to Kim the locality and schedule of the national league are her major concerns. She values a place where it is close to her home country, South Korea, so that she can join her national team for training more conveniently.
Though our source did not explicitly confirm the transfer news, we can tell Shanghai Club can fulfill such requirements at most. First, Shanghai is close to South Korea. What’s more, The Chinese league starts earlier and the duration of season is relatively shorter that it enables Kim to have a longer resting time.
InstaVolley will keep you posted of the latest update of Kim’s transfer.
