After a public thank you note to Club Eczacibasi Vitra, the world started to speculate where Tatiana Kosheleva will go. Media outlets including Volleyrussia have previously even reported that the Russian star player might go to either an Italian club or Japanese club. All wrong. Now the rumour has come to an end. According to Kosheleva’s agent, SB Community, she will stay another season in Turkish championship playing for Galatasaray Istanbul.
Kosheleva is a member of the Russia women’s national volleyball team and had played for many top clubs in the world including Dinamo Moscow, Zarechie Odintsovo, Dinamo Kazan, Dinamo Krasnodar and Eczacıbaşı VitrA, before joining Galatasaray in 2017.
Throughout these years, she has been helping her teams achieve a series of great success such as gold medals at the 2010 World Championship, the 2013 European Championship, the 2015 European Championship, Women’s Club World Championship 2016 and still counting. Individually, she has a myriad collection of personal titles such as Best Spiker in 2010 World Championship, MVP of European Championship, to name just a few.
InstaVolley would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to Tanya and wish her a new career height with the new club.
