Kobe, Japan, May 9, 2017 – Lonneke Sloetjes led VakifBank Istanbul to win their first match 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-18) over Dinamo Moscow in Pool A of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship Kobe 2017 at Green Arena Kobe on Tuesday.
The Netherlands spiker Sloetjes recorded all 16 points from solid spikes, while Dinamo Moscow superstar Natalia Goncharova topped all scorers with 19 points. Slotjes’ team-mates Zhu Ting and Kubra Akman contributed 14 and 10 points, respectively.
