Sergey Grankin signed a one-year contract with Belogorie Belgorod

Olympic Gold Medalist, Russian setter Sergei Grankin signed a one -year contract with Superleague club Belogorie Belgorod. Earlier it was reported that Grankin terminated the contract for the 17-18 season with Dinamo Moscow by mutual consent which Grankin has been playing in Dinamo Moscow for 10 seasons.

“The historical moment! Olympic champion of London 2012 Sergey Grankin just signed a contract with the club  Belogorie Belgorod for one season! This is an important step for Sergey and Belogorie. We sincerely wish Sergey and Belogorie success in the new season! “- wrote by the player’s agent Vladimir Kastornov on his  Instagram.

After the announcement of transfer, Sergey Grankin also shares some words on his Instagram: “Thank fans, management and everyone who helped all these years. Thank you for your suport! Victories and disappointments, positive emotions, it’s a great experience and I am very glad that phase of life was in Dinamo! I won’t say goodbye, but would like to say “good” bye!!!”

Leaving his club which stayed for 10 years, disagreement with the club? Or maybe Grankin just wants some new challenges. We wish Grankin best of luck in the new season.
