Serbia Women’s team starts prepare for the European Championship, 16 players were called to training camp

Serbian women’s team started gathering today at the Belgrade Crowne Plaza hotel and traveled to Kopaonik this morning to prepare for the upcoming European Championship. They will complete the first phase of preparation by 30 August. Head coach Zoran Terzic has called 16 players to the training camp, which is almost the same composition as their roster of World Grand Prix 2017. Sanja Malagurski will remain in Belgrade for several days due to the recovery of injury and Katarina Lazovic joined the training in Kopaonik.

The 16 players called to the training camp are:

Setters: Ana Antonijević, Bojana Živković, Slađana Mirković.

Opposites: Ana Bjelica, Tijana Bošković, Sanja Malagurski.

Liberos: Jelena Blagojević, Teodora Pušić.

Blockers: Milena Rašić, Stefana Veljković, Jovana Stevanović, Mina Popović .

Receivers: Brankica Mihajlović, Tijana Malešević, Bianka Buša, Bojana Milenković.

Remind that the European Championship 2017 will be held from September 22 to October 1 in Baku and Genja, Azerbaijan and Tbilisi, Georgia. Serbia will play in Group D in the first round at Ganja, together with Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Belgium.
