Russian player Alexandra Pasynkova will miss the season again due to an knee injury

Russian player of Superleague team Proton Saratov and two times European champion, Alexandra Pasynkova will miss the rest of the season due to an knee injury.

Pasynkova was injured on October 11 in the match of the first round of the Russian Superleague against Enisey Krasnoyarsk. Pasynkova played for PSK Sakhalin last season, she suffered from a knee injury last season also in the first round of the Superleague,  she has taken a whole year for rehabilitation and returned to court this season. Unfortunately, she got injured again and will miss the rest of the season. The exact diagnosis is not known yet but the injury is serious, she was put on a long leg cast and can barely walk.

The head coach of the team, Roman Kukushkin said this is a very serious loss for Proton. We hope that Pasynkova will receive the best treatment and return to court as soon as possible.
