Russian men’s team continues to prepare for the FIVB World Championships 2018 European qualifying tournament. In a friendly match with host Estonia, Russia defeated the Estonian team with the score 3: 0 (25:22, 25:20, 25:21). The best scorer of the match is Estonian opposite spiker Oliver Venno, he scored 15 points while Russian opposite spiker Maxim Mihaylov collected 10 points in this match.

The FIVB World Championships 2018 European qualifying tournament will be held in Estonia from 24 to 28 May. The Russian national team will play against Hungary, Romania, Montenegro, Estonia and Kosovo.
