Russian club Zenit Kazan welcomes the arrival of the French superstar Earvin Ngapeth on their official website and social media platform.
Two months ago, Ngapeth himself admitted that he was going to play in the Russian powerhouse. Now we confirmed that Zenit Kazan signed a two-year contract with the French national team player. The 27-year-old player is one of the most striking attackers of our time. The last four seasons he spent in Italian club Modena with whom he won almost all trophies in Italy – the championship, the Cup and the Super cup. As part of the French national team member, Earwin won twice the World League (2015, 2017), both times recognizing as the MVP in “Final Six”. In 2015, Ngapeth helped his team to win the European Championship, and by the end of 2016, he received a special prize from the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) as the most spectacular player.
Previously, Zenit Kazan announced that another key player of the club, Wilfredo León will not renew his contract with the club.
