A number of hot top player transfer news have broken out this week in Italian Women’s League Seria A involving national team players Italian Anastasia Guerra, Dutch Robin De Kruifb and Albanian Erblira Bici. Let’s take a look.
Anastasia Guerra
The Italian opposite player Anastasia has announced that she will play for Shanghai Club in China in the upcoming season after Pomi Casalmaggiore for which she has played for two seasons.
On her Instagram post, she said,
“Now I can finally share it with you all, next season I will with great pleasure wear the colors of Shanghai Volleyball Club! A new thrilling adventure to experience…”
Robin de Kruif
The star middle blocker confirmed that she will play one more season 2018/2019 for Imoco. It will be her third season serving the club. Recall that Robin resided outside the court in the second half of the last season due to a knee injury.
“It was not a difficult choice to decide to stay with this club, this team and with these great fans. I think that this team still can win many trophies in the future and compete again for the maximum levels.”, Robin remarked.
Erblira Bici
Albanian opposite Erblira Bici will play for Igor Novara for the 2018/2019 season.
Prior to this, Erblira played two seasons for Mondovi in Seria A2. During the period, she scored 1028 points and in both seasons was the second-best scorer of the Seria A2.
Currently, the 22-year-old player is with her national team of Albania, who are competing at the Final Four of the Silver European League.
“I am very happy to be able to play in Serie A1. Even more in a prestigious club like Novara. It seems to me something surreal and magnificent. First I expect to grow as a player and as a person, thanks to the proximity of top-level athletes. I’m excited about playing in the top league but at the same time, I think I’m ready for a challenge that will surely be fascinating. Thank you for this, Mondovì with whom I spent two wonderful years in A2” said the Albanian talent.
