Another new raising star you need to focus- Ran Takahashi from Japan!! The 19 years old Japanese player joined Japanese senior national team since 2020 and make his debut in VNL 2021!! He was the MVP of 2019 All Japan High School Volleyball Championships and best scorer of 2020 All Japan Intercollegiate Volleyball Championship. And now he comes and shows on the international stage with his all rounded skill, his outstanding performance on attack and defence.
Ran contributed 26 points in the match Japan against the Netherlands. After three rounds of Men’s VNL game, Takahashi now ranked No. 6 in both best scorer and best attacker. We are sure that this young man will keep surprising us with his performance in the rest of the matches, so stay tuned!!
