Russian superstar player, opposite spiker of Dinamo Moscow- Natalia Goncharova third consecutive year awarded the best player of Russian Superleague. Summing up the results voted by the head coaches of women’s teams of the Super League, Goncharova got 18.5 points and rank number one in the vote. Maria Frolova got 10 points and rank second, Ksenia Parubets (Ilchenko) got 9 points and rank third.
The award also known as Lyudmila Buldakova prize which is named under two-time Olympic champion of the USSR team, Lyudmila Buldakova. The prize was established by the All-Russian Volleyball Federation in 2007. Former prize winners included: Lyubova Yagodina, Lyubov Sokolova, Evgeniya Estes (Artamonova), Tatiana Kosheleva, Ekaterina Gamova and Angelina Grun.
