One of the best volleyball players in the history of Serbian volleyball and one of the best setter in the world, Maja Ognjenović , after two years, returns to the national team!!
This good news have been confirmed by the trophy coach Zoran Terzic .
“I have talked to Maja and she agreed for returning to national team, I expect she will join the team and begin the preparation for the World Championship on July 23 in Kovilovo. Maja expressed the desire to play and I’m sure the other girls will be delighted. She has played in the previous three world championships, has done so much in her career, has won many honors, her returns will be an advantage for our team!” Terzic said.
Ognjenović left the national team after clinched the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, she missed the European Championship and World Grand Prix last year. Her returns will surely please all fans of the world.
