Two-time world and European champion, Russia legendary player Lyubov Sokolova announced her retirement. Sokolova also said that now she will take the position of general manager of the women’s volleyball club Dinamo Krasnodar.
“I decided to finish my sports career finally. Looking back, I can say that I am completely happy with that part of my life which I spent in volleyball. And I’m not going to leave this wonderful sport. Since July 1, I start working as the general manager of the women’s team of Dinamo Krasnodar.
I like this club, I like Krasnodar and the Krasnodar Territory. I do not regret that I moved here from Moscow. I hope that my success in the new business will be no less significant than those that I achieved when playing volleyball. At least I will make every effort to do this! ” Sokolova said.
