Jamie Morrison terminated his job as the head coach of Netherlands women’s team

Jamie Morrison will immediately stop as the head coach of the Netherlands women’s national team, announced by the Netherlands volleyball association. That is the result of the evaluation between Morrison and the volleyball association following the international season 2019. The association will shortly appoint a successor, who will lead the Orange team at the beginning of January at the last Olympic Qualifier in Apeldoorn for the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020.

Jamie Morrison (38 years old) was presented on 23 February 2017 as the successor of the Italian Giovanni Guidetti. Morrison achieved great results in his first two years as a national coach. The Orange team won twice in the Final Six of the World Grand Prix / Volleyball Nations League under his leadership, won silver at the 2017 European Championships and finished fourth in the 2018 World Championship, the highest ranking ever at the World Championship.
