The new head coach of Italian Women’s national team Davide Mazzanti scheduled first gathering! He called 13 players for the 2017 national season. The list will be expanded on May 17, with the arrival of three players currently engaged in the playoff finals of Serie A1: middle blockers Sara Bonifacio and Cristina Chirichella from Igor Gorgonzola Novara and receiver Caterina Bosetti from Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena.
Mazzanti will begin work with the ladies on May 11, while Italy team opens Qualifications for the 2018 FIVB World Championship in Japan on May 31.
