About Aleksa

Aleksa Brdjovic was a trusted setter in the youth national team of Serbia and he won two medals at the European Championships of his age – silver in 2009 and gold in 2011 in Turkey. This talented player undoubtedly inherited the genes from his father, legendary Dejan Brdjović, who played in the same position. Some experts argue that young Aleksa could even play as correction-opposite player and he proved it, but still his primary orientation heads towards the setter position. „Young Brdja“, as he is called by his teammates, with 204 cm of height, is the one of the tallest players in the roster and his block surely frightens the rivals.
