Two-time world champion, the best Russian volleyball player of the 21st century, Ekaterina Gamova revealed to a media outlet “Life”that she would soon release a book.
Accordingly, Ekaterina will write an autobiography which will cover her story of her life, career, experiences with different clubs. However, she has not come up with the title of her book yet though she has some options on the table while none of them work so far.
Gamova does not have much time left for finalizing the title as the book is due to release in late August. On whether she had other writer helping her write the book, she did not deny it and said it is very difficult for her to write a book recollecting every trvial issue of herself for that she is not a professional writer. She credited her editorial team full heartedly.
Regarding the language and the target audience of the book, she gave a very formative answer that it will only be written in Russian, a language she speaks because meaning may subtly vary in other languages, “I hope the book can fully reflect the way I live and my character.” Also, she does not expect that general public will have interest in her life, after all she is not a celebrity. Hence she believes readers are almost sports enthusiast and volleyball fans to be precise.
