France emerged victorious in the women’s Volleyball Challenger Cup 2023!! Earning them a spot in the Volleyball Nations League VNL 2024 next year. This feat was achieved just before they host the Olympics in Paris.
In the final match held in Laval on Sunday, they beat Sweden in four sets 3-1 to claim the gold medal in their second appearance in the competition.
While on the same day, Türkiye’s men’s national team achieved their long-awaited dream of participating in the Volleyball Nations League by emerging victorious in the Volleyball Challenger Cup 2023.
This monumental victory comes after two previous unsuccessful attempts in 2019 and 2022. In an intense five-set final showdown held in Doha on Sunday, they demonstrated incredible determination and skill, ultimately defeating the resilient hosts Qatar to secure both the coveted trophy and the ticket to VNL 2024.
