A tragic news to the volleyball world that former Italian Middle Blocker Sara Anzanello passed away at the age of 38.
In 2013, Sara received global support when she underwent a liver transplant.
As one of the key members in the Italian national team in the golden era, she helped the team won the epic World Championship in 2002 and World Cup in 2007 & 2011. Though she is gone, she has left an indelible marks in the volleyball court with her magnificent achievement.
