FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship Kobe 2017 Day 3 Summary
VakifBank Istanbul, Rexona-SESC Rio, Volero Zurich and Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul secured their place in semi-finals.
One of the highlighted seminfinal matches is Eczacibasi VitrA vs VakifBank Istanbul. The two team played against each otehr in the finals in last year’s edition in which Eczacibasi won. Earlier last month, VakifBank won the championship over Eczacibasi in the Turkish league.
Another Semi-finals head to head will be featuring Volero Zurich vs Rexona-SESC Rio. The last time these two teams met was at Zurich 2015, where Volero finished with a bronze medal. Last year, Volero Zurich and Rexona-SESC missed the podium, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively.
