FIVB Men’s World Championship 2018: Drawing of lots on 30 Nov in Florence

The drawing of lots for the FIVB Men’s World Championships 2018 will be held Thursday 30 November in Florence, in the splendid location of Palazzo Vecchio’s “Salone dei Cinquecento”, starting at 16.00.

The 24 qualified teams will be divided into four groups, each consisting of six teams.

The draw will have live broadcast from RaiSport HD cameras starting at 16.30.

Four initial rounds that will include 6 teams. Apart from the first two placed on the basis of the FIVB Ranking, with Italy and Bulgaria in the Pool A and D standings, the other six seats will be reserved for the first six of the FIVB Ranking (excluding the two organizers). After that, the draw will place a team for the bands that follow in each group.

Ranking 11-14: Egypt, Belgium, Cuba, Australia
