While every fan of Brazil is anticipating earnestly the comback of Fabiana Claudino, an exclusive report by “To Fly” has revealed that the two-time Olympic champion middle blocker had followed the footsteps of Jacqueline Carvalho who declined to return to the national team, despite the invitation by the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) and coach Jose Roberto Guimarães.
Fabiana left Brazil in 2016 after the Rio Olympics. On the occasion, she stated that she was confident and convinced of her decision and that she needed a moment for herself. This is the second time she refused to return to the courts since 2017, invited by Zé Roberto.
Nevertheless, chance of seeing Fabiana is still there for her fans as she is expected to report to her club, Dentil / Praia Clube, next week for her third consecutive season.
