Exclusive from Malagurski: “The recovery is going well!”

Even for top class players, injury is regrettably an integral part of their career; and unfortuantely this is just happening on Serbian Opposite Spiker, Sanja Malagurski who injured her ankle during training in China for the upcoming final round of World Grand Prix. InstaVolley today talked to Sanja and is pleased to know that the recovery is going well.

We heard that you are injured during training. Is it true and is it serious?

-  Yes it is true that i twisted my ankle, but the recovery is going very well. 

Are you able to play in the final round next week?

– We can't say how fast I will be able to be back on the court again, but i hope with all my heart that I will be able to help my team in this final 6!

Many fans have been worrying about you . Do you want to say something to the supporters?

– I just want to send a big kiss for everybody and say thank you for all the messages and support you are giving to Serbian national team and to me now. We feel much more stronger with all this love we feel!

Serbia is the top ranking team with 7 out of 9 winning record in the preliminary round at FIVB World Grand Prix. The final round will take place in Nanjing, China from 2-6 August.
