Before the Turkish League 2018/2019 starts, an astounding news breaks out since the South Korean superstar, Kim Yeon-Koung has signed a contract with top tier club in Turkey, Eczacıbaşı VitrA.
Eczacıbaşı VitrA team manager Nalan Ural said, “Kim is a talented and successful volleyball player who has played in our country for years. I believe she will do very well with this current cadet. Good for both sides.”
Born in 1988, the Korean superstar played for a number of clubs in different countries such as Pink Spiders, JT Marvelous, Fenerbahçe and Shanghai Guohua Life.
Throughout the years, Kim led her country and clubs to shine in many major tournaments and also has earned a respectable number of individual titles and awards including the “Most Valuable Player” (MVP) award at the 2012 London Olympics.
Simultaneously, Eczacıbaşı Vitra also announced that the club has extended the contract of young star Tijana Boskovic until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
Thhe left-handed Serbian star, Tijana Boskovic, has achieved a lot of successes at young age and was voted “Volleyball Player of the Year” by CEV in the past season, and have won 2018 CEV Cup with Eczacibasi.
