Women’s national team of Japan has recently revealed a tentative team roster for the upcoming World Championship as follows:

Amongst the players, it is noticed that former captain, 2012 Olympic bronze medalist middle blocker, Erika Araki is enlisted again. This is also the first time we see her in the team roster for international tournament this year that she has not played for the 5-week long Volleyball Nations League.
It is definitely a good news for team Japn and of course fans of Erika. Let’s see if she will be selected as team captain again in World Championship.
