Four Russian teams qualified for the 2017 World Beach Volleyball Championship, which will be held from July 28 to August 6 in Vienna (Austria).
For men, silver medalists of the recent Moscow stage of the World Tour Vyacheslav Krasilnikov – Nikita Lyamin, bronze medalist Oleg Stouanovsky – Artem Yarzutkin among the 23 best pairs in the current world ranking of the FIVB. And at the moment Krasilnikov and Lyamin head the World Tour 2017 ranking.
Women Anastasia Barsuk – Evgenia Ukolova, Ekaterina Birlova – Nadezhda Makroguzova were selected according to a separate European source.
There will be 48 male and female pairs at the World Championships, competing for a total prize money up to one million US dollars.
