Russian former national team player, Alexandra Pasynkova will continue her career in Dinamo Kazan.
Two-time European champion, the 31-year-old volleyball player missed the last two seasons due to injury. In the season of 2016/17, she was suffered from Achilles tendon rupture in the first match for Sakhalin in the Russian Superleague and dropped out before the end of the season. In 2017, the story repeated- Pasynkova was injured in the debut match for Proton and missed the rest of the season.
According to the management of Dinamo Kazan, they signed a three-stage contract with Pasynkova. “Since she has missed last two season due to injury, serious risks are involved with this player, so we decided to make such a stimulating contract. She will receive only a symbolic salary at the beginning, if she plays well at the preliminary stage and pass all medical examination, the salary will increase significantly. We are hoping that we will be able to help Pasynkova returns to big volleyball, our medical and coaching staff will do their best to help her. We hope that she will help our team.” said the director of the Kazan club Sergei Chernyshov.
Pasynkova spent most of her career in her native club Uralochka (2002 – 2014), and also played for Dinamo Krasnodar in 2014 – 2016. As member of the Russian national team, Pasynkova played 78 matches, becoming a two-time European champion (2013, 2015), as well as silver (2015) and bronze (2014) in World Grand Prix.
