7 players of Turkey women’s team may not be able to play in the opening match of Tokyo Olympic

7 players of the Turkish women’s team, including captain Eda Erdem, are in “mild” quarantine in Tokyo after travelling in the same plane with a person that resulted COVID-19 positive.

Eda Erdem was originally scheduled to be the flag bearer at the opening ceremony but due to the quarantine, her duty has already been cancelled.

With only 2 days to go before the opening match against China, Turkey is not sure if the main players can play in the opening match, although training is going on.
